"I absolutely could not put this book down!"
"Full of twists and turns that could change everything."
"Get ready to have your heart broken and put back together again."

Devyn Lynn has recently learned something about herself...she's kind of a b*tch.
Good thing her brother's best friend can help.

My Story
For years, I've been a secret writer, scribbling down daydreams about book boyfriends I haven't yet read.
The thing about secrets though?

They never stay hidden for long.

Join me as I dive headfirst into the world of romance authorship, follow my dreams, and set my stories free.

Something Like Sugar
By Elsie Bea

Single, twenty-eight year old female, looking for a...bed time study buddy?
I'm the good girl. The quiet one. I teach your toddlers to plié on Saturday and read Shakespeare with my father on Sunday, so never in a million years did I think I'd be here.
Putting up a Flinger profile. The place for one night stands and evening trysts.
But after today, it's clear the man I love will never see me how I want. And with Dad slipping away at each beep of his monitors, for once in my life...ballet might not be enough.
Dance can't love you back.
I know it's risky. I know it's taboo. But if my best friend's brother won't open his eyes to see me, maybe someone else will.
So here I go, posting an ad to lose my virginity.
What could go wrong?
Only everything.
Shana Holiday doesn't mean to be a twenty-eight year old virgin, she just is.
Maybe her best friend's brother could help?

Something Like Sugar is a small town, secret dating, best friend's brother romance coming Spring of 2025.

Something Like Starlight

“You gonna tell on me? I might be cursed to look young, but I’m twenty-eight you know. I can speak to and f*ck whomever I want. Even an entire band. Or two. Or three if I really want. And despite what you might think, Nashy-Poo, it doesn’t make a woman a slut for loving her body and enjoying life.”

“I didn’t say it did, I just said—”

“You implied that I shouldn’t talk sexy.”

“No, I didn’t.”
“Yeah, you did Papa Bear. I said stuff about boy toys, you said don’t talk like that, threw in some Daddy kink, and—”

“Daddy what?”

“Daddy kink.” I blink at him. He can’t be serious, right? “You know the routine, bad girl needs punished, sugar daddy flips up her skirt and gives her the spankin’ she never got, everyone gets a happily ever after.”

His mouth hangs open as he stares at me like I’ve grown three heads.

“Have you seriously never watched porn?”

“What?! No, of course I haven’t watched porn!”

“Bullshit.”

“Excuse me?” Nash’s brow knits, his voice a grumbling irritation. “What did you say?”

Yeah, I definitely like him mad.

Probably why I press it further.
“I said bullshit. There is not a single man in this country who hasn’t scrolled some tits or a$s at least once. I mean, at the very least you’ve watched a few casting couches, right?”
“Casting…couches?”

He seems truly stumped. And for a brief second, I think maybe, just maybe, this man isn’t lying. That maybe he really is just a silver fox, single dude who enjoys work and doesn’t want to f*ck anything with legs.

Is it bad if that makes me want to play with him more?

Maybe that’s why I plant my seed, crossing my arms over my chest to shove my boobs up so they’ll peek out the top of the cut-up band tee. His eyes immediately fall there, as predicted, and I let a smile steal my face as I clear my throat and his eyes snap back to mine, but I don’t mind.

I like when Nash stares.

“I’ll compromise with you. Let me ride the bus to Centerville. I have some friends I can visit.

“Do these friends have couches you’ll be…cast on?”
I don’t miss the air of annoyance behind it. As if he has any right to judge what I do in my spare time.

“Maybe.” I challenge. “Does that bother you?”

“That? No, that doesn’t bother me, Sour Patch.” He wrinkles his nose in contempt, eyes scraping my body before they return to mine with a scowl. “It’s just everything else about you that does.”
